Administrative Assistant

 

     As Administrative Assistant, I assist the Administrative Director with all aspects of the management of the agency. I handle the opening and closing of files and assist with billing, filing and interoffice communication. I am the friendly voice on the phone that can aid families with intake questions, appointment setting and requests for assistance. I enjoy being the first line of communication with our office. I organize the Adoptive Parent Seminars  to assist the Adoptive Parent Coordinator and sometimes I attend consent signings as a witness when needed. I am always the first to volunteer when a baby needs to be cuddled!


   I attended Boone High School and have worked extensively in the field of accounting before joining A Chosen Child, Inc. in 2009. I am thrilled to be able to combine my organizational skills with my passion for helping people.


I have been happily married for 36 years and have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. I am fortunate that most of my immediate and extended family still reside in the Orlando area. They are very important to me and I treasure the times I get to spend with them.


                                   What do I love most about my job?

     

   It brings me great joy to serve our adoptive families and birth families. I also enjoy assisting the staff here at A Chosen Child. I believe that God gave me the spiritual gifts of service and hospitality which I get the opportunity to use often in my job.
