Birth Parent Coordinator
As a Birth Parent Coordinator, I provide expectant mothers with support and encouragement for their adoption plan. I assist them with identifying available benefits and community services, and help them to obtain these important resources. Often, I am able to help birth parents stabilize their life situation and alleviate much of the stress they feel during the pregnancy. I am bilingual and can assist many of our spanish speaking birth parents.
I am originally from Texas, but moved to Florida in 1995. I previously worked with Home Care Services for children with special needs, until I joined A Chosen Child, Inc. in 2007.
I am happily married with two children. We enjoy being outdoors, everything from going to the beaches, to going to the theme parks and BBQing in the park with friends. We also love eating out and watching movies.
What do you love most about your job?
I love being an important part of a birth mother’s life while she pursues an adoption plan. Giving compassion, encouragement, and a listening ear whenever needed.
