As Administrative Director I handle everything from personnel recruitment, training and retention to agency licensing, advertising and public relations. I insure that all staff provide excellent customer service to the Agency’s prospective adoptive parents and birth parents. I also handle payroll, employee benefits, accounts receivable/accounts payable, billing and bookkeeping. I have been with A Chosen Child, Inc. since 1999, and I am proud to say I have been a part of every adoption we have ever placed. I am one of the founding members of A Chosen Child, Inc. and I also serve on the Board of Directors. My dedication and experience in coordinating and prioritizing, allows A Chosen Child to respond efficiently and professionally to all of our clients’ needs.
I am originally from Wisconsin, and have been happily married since 1987. I am the proud mother of two great boys, and I cherish family nights, going to church and date nights with my hubby. In my spare time, I enjoy watching my son play baseball and my husband coach his team. I volunteer with Buddy Ball and the Babe Ruth Association, and I recently won the Iva Alt Team Mom Award. I also enjoy cycling, walking and tennis.
What do I love most about my job?
I feel I have a role in all aspects of the adoption process, and I am honored to provide practical and emotional support for all of our adoptive families and birth parents. Adoption is a passion of mine and I feel blessed that I go to work and know that I am making a difference in the lives of all the families.
